Events
The NCID sponsors and co-sponsors a variety of events each year, from large-scale gatherings of national diversity leaders to intensive small group workshops—all in 
alignment with its eight core priority areas. When the focus of a particular eventclearly overlaps with the diversity interests of other U-M schools and campus units, we highly encourage additional nominal or financial co-sponsorships to ensure that the gathering has far-reaching impact.
The NCID annually solicits proposals for its Diversity Conversations awards program, which offers up to $35,000 to University of Michigan teams of faculty and/or staff who are organizing innovative diversity events: artistic performances or tours, lecture series, conferences, symposia, and other gatherings.
