Faculty and Center Fellows
The NCID is proud to welcome its fourth cohort of Faculty and Center Fellows into its expanding community of stakeholders. In both the Faculty and Center Fellows programs, candidates apply for competitive “venture fund” awards to support diversity-related projects that align with the NCID’s eight core priority areas and offer potential to become national exemplars.
Read more about the RFP cycle, which occurs each winter.
Faculty Fellows, who hold regular appointments in relevant instructional and research units of the university, include instructional faculty, lecturers, research scientists/professors, librarians, curators, and archivists. Center Fellows may include external partners who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to the NCID mission as policy experts, leaders within major social institutions, artists, grassroots community organizers, or directors of non-profit organizations.
Both Faculty and Center Fellows remain actively involved in the NCID community beyond their official term-limited funding. In addition to participating in NCID working groups and programmatic activities, they often function as ambassadors in their home units or organizations, playing pivotal roles in the development of viable NCID campus and external partnerships.
