NCID Postdoctoral Fellowship Program: Information for Faculty Nominators
Senior faculty at doctoral-granting institutions, including the University of Michigan, may nominate outstanding young scholars in their fields by sending nomination letters to the program (NCIDpostdoc@umich.edu). Letters of nomination should include the faculty member’s assessment of the candidate’s scholarship and level of promise as a tenure-track or research-track faculty member.
Letters should also contain contact information for the candidate, including his/her current department and institution, mailing address, and email address. NCID staff will contact the nominee directly to ask him/her to submit the required application materials.
