Internal Grants Competition (RFP)

Internal Grants Competition:  Strategic Partnership RFPs (Requests for Proposals)

As an agency of the Provost’s Office, the National Center for Institutional Diversity promotes national exemplars that address complex diversity issues within higher education and other major social institutions. NCID enacts this mission through strategic partnerships with major campus units and their respective external partners—ultimately working toward sustaining and institutionalizing innovative diversity projects in line with campus units’ respective agendas.
Accordingly, the NCID places a high value on grant proposals that have been endorsed by the dean, department head, or director of the applicant's home unit.   The NCID regards all RFP applicants or project leaders as ambassadors of their home units, who help forge or strengthen a strategic partnership between the NCID and their respective departments, schools, and external partners.

The NCID invites submissions for its Faculty Fellows, Center Fellows, and Diversity Conversations programs. The deadline for the 2013 cycle is Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
